We would like to offer Cricket for sale.  MNS CRICKET EWE B4H 07X  She is a black mouflon 2010 ewe who should carry moorit from her father.  She lost her mother last year and was younger so we didn’t breed her over the winter to allow her to grow.  She is still on the more petite side but healthy and should do fine this year.  Her grandmother was one of our favorite foundation ewes, who we called Socks, offically PAV B45H 346P.  Her father was MNS GRIZZ RAM M4H 03W.  Cricket was linebred on her grandfather, TY RAM B24H 16T, who we called Jack and we lost last fall.  He bloated by eating too many apples.  

I am mainly offering Cricket because I have too many sheep related to her in my flock already.  She isn’t one of the ones who gets in my face, but I have some ewes who are pushier so Cricket could easily be friendlier in a smaller flock.  She has held up well under high parasite pressure in 2011 and is raising twins well in 2012 but is a smaller and more delicate ewe.

Two horned Jacob Yearling – Moonstruck Clover (registrationed with JSBA). This ewe is out of Moonstruck Orchid and would carry lilac.  She started out as a nice sized twin and has grown into a healthy yearling.  She has lovely, soft wool and is marked in a striking way.  She has been exposed to our Icelandic ram because we didn’t want her bred to her father.  She had  a nice two-horned cross lamb on 3/11 and is a wonderful mother.  Asking $200 for Clover.

We have a nice dark two horned ewe – Moonstruck Rosemary.  She is now a yearling so I’ll need to update her picture, but she has a nice black Icelandic cross ewe lamb and is doing a good job of as a mother.  Asking $200

Icelandic ewes for Sale:

I have one Icelandic yearling for sale.  Lucy is a black/gray  single out of a yearling mother, Roxy.  There is a picture of her on my main blog with her black ewe lamb.  She is a protective and devoted mother and had her 9 pound lamb unassisted.

Icelandic lambs for sale are coming.  We are done lambing and have quite a few rams and some ewes as well.  Check back for pictures and information.
