This year we again bred our ewes to Jason, a black gray/mouflon ram from Crossbreeze. We like him (both his looks and temperament) and we liked his lambs last year and didn’t breed his daughters last fall. We are considering keeping him another year too since he’s such a nice, well-behaved ram, but need to figure out what to do about his daughters.
The 4 daughters who we kept over the winter are continuing to grow and look really good this spring. I am glad we didn’t breed them and let them grow out.
This year we had 7 rams and 9 ewe lambs born between 3-15 and 5-7-15. We plan to keep a couple ewes and maybe a ram, but others will be for sale.
I have them listed with picture by their mothers on their own pages.
3-15 Fiona had twins, both black/gray mouflons and a ewe and ram.
3-18 Zena had a single ram, black mouflon.
3-19 Ivy had a black gray ram and a black badger/mouflon ewe
3-19 Midnight had a black gray ewe and a black mouflon ram (who later died)
3-21 Rhoda had a black gray ewe and a black gray/mouflon ram with flashing
